Migrate OpenCart to Shopify
Dakota Cub engaged Creative Intelligence to migrate their site from OpenCart to Shopify, including all products, customers, and order history. Although the new Shopify site was to resemble the old OpenCart site, it needed a new fresh look with more simplified menus and more video content.

Project Peculiarities
A peculiarity of this project is that the previous developer/hosting partner for the OpenCart site was not cooperating with the owner, and as such would not provide admin access to the site, or the server, only a dump of the SQL databases to migrate OpenCart. However, Creative Intelligence loaded the SQL databases up in a staging development system, and then migrated all the necessary products, customers, and orders into Shopify from there.
Matrixify and Shogun Page Builder Assist to Migrate OpenCart
Matrixify was later used to clean up some of the supporting data in Shopify, and many of the custom pages were designed using the Shogun Page Builder.
Migrate OpenCart Preserving SEO
During the migration great care was taken to preserve the existing OpenCart SEO. Redirects were put in place for all products, categories (collections) and pages to ensure Google existing rankings were preserved.
